"Hotel location to Malioboro's downtown main street approximately 4km by distance, and within to Kraton's old city sultanate palaces of Kota Gede. Room air conditioning is noisy and warm all night long but indeed is still a good place to sleep and relax."

"We moved get after spending one night in another hotel. This was the perfect location, we had worried that it was too far from the main part of town, but actually it was ideal. They're are so many cafes and restaurants nearby, and it's only a 5 minute walk to the bus stop to go further afield. The pool was also exactly what we needed after a hot day in Jogja! I would definitely stay here again, the room was clean, staff were friendly and attentive and the breakfast was great. When we had to leave early for the airport, a breakfast to go was made for us. "

"We absolutely loved this place! Staff were fantastic, very friendly and did they best to accommodate us! Our phone didn't work and we needed to book a table at a restaurant so one of the ladies did that for us, we went on a tour and had to leave before breakfast time so they prepared us a packed breakfast at 3am! The room was big, very clean and had everything we needed. The bathroom was also clean, shower was good but water temperature was difficult to control as it came really hot or really cold, and it also wasn't draining very well so we ended up with a puddle in bathroom. The pool was also nice, the hotel was quiet when we were there so was lovely. The breakfast is absolutely amazing!! You can have american option of coffee, fresh juice, concentrated juice, milk, cereal, eggs, French toast or normal toast and fruit. Or you can have Indonesian option with all the same drinks and fruit, then noodle soup or fried rice."

"We stayed at the Indah Palace for two nights. The staff were extremely nice and courteous, which was the biggest plus point for me. The location is a little from the main centre, but easy to get to by taxi or tuk-tuk. The rooms were nice and with standard facilities. The best facility of the hotel as a whole was the restaurant. Although the buffet breakfast is fine, I think you should try a bigger meal in the evening. We did so on the first evening and it was a lovely meal. In fact, the nasi goreng we ordered was the best of our whole trip to Indonesia."

"The place is nice, really good feeling since the begaining. Swimming pool,chill area,friendly staff,,really good vibe place. I booked the hammock,and the hammock space its a little bit hot because no fans,but you have your own plug and WiFi it’s quite fast. Location it’s a little bit far from the city center,but ok for that price. Really close to Warung Lotek Pak Mul,an small street food place where you can try the best Lotek (Gado Gado) that I ever tried in Indonesia. You can search it on google by that name."

"Overall its a very pleasant stay! I like the nice small hotel with its bright and modern rooms. It is newly renovated and have all the basic things you look for. The staffs is also really nice and attentive. Its worth the price and I recommend Guest House Gading for budget travelling in Jogja! I would've extend my stay, but its full :) Guesthouse Gading is located in Prawirotaman, near Kota Gede and Keraton, a touristy area where there's a lot of hotels, restaurants, and tour and travels. Prawirotaman can be reached with TransJogja Bus (only around 10 minutes walk from a halte) as well as taxi, becak and others. The area is also very quite and comfortable, but also near to center of attractions such as Keraton and Kota Gede. One suggestion for Guesthouse Gading: Improving the Hotel pool and its water quality. "
