Where to stay in Bantul
Bantul hotels & accommodations
We arrived 11:30am, we are told that 2pm is the check in time so we left our luggage for safekeeping and headed outside for Lunch. There are PLENTY of options to choose from- from cheap eats to mid-range all are in close proximity from this hotel. Walk a few blocks, there is also a pharmacy nearby to buy some for your emergency kit. There is also a big grocery store n...
I booked 2 rooms for 5 days 4 nights. The room size is acceptable. Have a basic facilities; fridge, kettle and tv. For cleanliness, need some improvement especially for the bathroom. Aircond needs some maintenance since it wasn't cold enough. Should up to the standard of 3 stars hotel. The rest are good. Helpful and polite staff. They responded quickly for everything w...
We are on a backpacking holiday....but couldn't resist upping the budget just a bit to stay in such a luxurious hotel for still a really great price. The location is good, very close to Prawirotaman road with all the restaurants and bars. Feeling a bit templed out from our travels, having seen Angkor Wat, we decided to forego Borobudur and hire a becak for a day (ver...
This hotel is located in a smaller 1 lane aisle leading to the main road. You can walk to mini mart or pub which is located on the main road. Room is ok for this price. I got a 2 single bed as they run out of room with double. My room has a balcony facing the front entrance but it was not noisy. Hotel is clean but it has seen it's greater days. Breakfast is served, a...
Generally it was optimal accomodation. we are budget travelers and for us it was for reasonable price, very clean and comfort and breakfast was just awesome. Big plus is that in restaurant they have pack (food and drink) and it's cheap and tasty. Big and nice pool. Personal i very helpfull and kind. One only think (but it's not really minus but moreless personal no...
Excellent services by staffs...and a warm friendly owner we met at the resto...biking and guided to some home industry, rice fields, and many amazing views at Bantul area... Beautiful deluxe rooms with pools in front...just feel like we stay in a forest, but only 200 meter we're right at the main street of Bantul. A gazebo in the middle of the rice field, a nice p...
The staffs were friendly and vey helpful. We loved the swimming pool. The hotel was comfy
If it is relaxation you are looking for with exceptional service this is the place to stay. As soon as we arrived at Villa Rosseno we felt at home in a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The facility was nice and clean and we had a private swimming pool. They also provided free laundry and massage. All meals were prepared for us on OUR schedule so we did not need t...
Pros: excellent location, affordable price, fair size room, value for ot price, free hot tea in the morning, daily houskeeping Cons: slow water pressure, old building, old linen, invention of ants soldier, electrict blackout at midnight about 3o minutes, moldy wall and lack of sunlight in the room But overall it’s worth for the money i paid and i will definitely come...
We are family of 4, with children age 4 & 7. We booked for 2 days as we don't know how it will be. We requested to be picked up, and even when our flight was late, the driver is still there waiting. We booked family room, which turned out to be really spacious (more than we expected), even with our 8 luggages. Room is well air-con, hot water (which is important for my...
My wife and 10 month older daughter and I stayed at Villa Pondok Terra for 3 nights from May 3rd to 6th. Although we had booked the Villa Diamond for the period of our stay, when we arrived we were told that Agoda had in fact double booked the villa for our last two nights and that we would have to move to Villa Gold for those nights. In return for the inconvenience, t...
If you want to have a quiet place and enjoy kampong style in jogja with reasonable price this is the place. Stayed for 3 night with my wife, we really enjoyed the wood bungalow, the design, layout etc especially the outdoor bath. Verdict Location; 30 minutes from downtown jogja but splendid if you want to explore the outer ring of jogja like bantul. The bungalow; lo...
this is my favorite hotel in indonesia after 3 months of travel. the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful; the owner is present and also very friendly; the hotel itself is beautifully designed and artfully built. coffee and tea all day, and breakfast is good and fast - even served very early on request. great place.
The place is really chill and beautiful. The staff, all women, are the best, thank you very much! <3
overall this was an ok place to spend a couple of nights; some things were good, but there were also some drawbacks that left us only lukewarm about it. the staff was very friendly and helpful when we had questions or needed something (and spoke enough english that we never had to resort our broken bahasa), and they even served us breakfast after noon on two of the ...
The price is really backpacker-friendly. The staffs are really kind, clean place and the location make us explore Jogja city easily. The minus is, the sign of hotel is small/hard to find from the road and the shower was disorder.
Super kind host, Cheap prices, good location walkable to city centre. I stayed 6 beds dorm ( coffin style bank beds) AC, curtain, blanket, each bed has 3 power outlets. Always clean and tidy spacious living and kitchen there is everything I need.
We are setting all expectations low when booking online. It always pays off. Rajaklana gave us new experience, especially for our two little boys. They called it forrest houses. Because the route to Rajaklana passes lits of hills and forrest. And better yet, the locations of Rajaklana surrounded by tons of jati trees. They love both swimming pools. The infinity one bei...
Our stay was just fantastic. The beds were comfortable and only in Venezia did we get proper sleep during our whole trip in Indonesia. The bathroom was spacious although the bathroom lock didn't work, that was a non-issue for us. What we really appreciated most though are the tours we booked from them - afternoon tour to Prambanan and whole day tour to Borobudur and ...
It was fantastic!!! Thanks you guys
quiet location but close to food and bar. its alternative to busy malioboro area. friendly staffs who had been working there for years. old style building. nice sized and depth pool. breakfast is ok. room service menu is great. reception can organise tour as well. WiFi is only in lobby area though
I arrived In Yogyakarta at another hotel. It was awful. After a couple hours of frustration I found this place on Agoda and booked it. I took a meter taxi near by, and walked around. It is hard to find. If you go past normal business hours it will be very tough. The night security did not speak any English and could not direct me over the phone. He also couldn't check ...
at first i didn't expect too much from my stay. especially with Rp 150K per night. apparently they provide a lot of facilities. you can borrow hair dryer (it's very useful after showering esp, after hiking in Gunung Kidul),. you can use the kitchen anytime you want (very important from home-cook like me). they provide books! (i looveeee reads). a homey neighbourhood ( ...
The staffs were very helpful and responsive in managing my booking. I had to change my booking from a dorm room to single room and the staffs were patient & flexible enough to help change my booking. You will have to pay cash/ transfer, they don't accept credit card. Delicious breakfast made to order and lobby is homey & cozy. Also they provide tour services, so you ca...
The rooms are nice and spacious and having use of the kitchen was great.
maharani is a fairly new guesthouse in gang sartono, a street very close to prawirotaman. the street is really nice; although there are many guesthouses, the street still has a nice kampung feel. rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. breakfast and food are nothing special, but one of the best restautants is across the str...
We love staying at Imogen Bnb. Our room is big and cozy, towel was provided, there's also living room, dining area and kitchen, everything is clean, the staff also very good, they provided iron for us. Wifi also provided, just sometimes the connection are low in the room. Everything in the house was nice including the free tea and coffee which everyone can have anytime...
The accommodation is located further away from the city center but is close to a main street. The cottage was very spacious, the pool was clean, and we were pleased to find bunnies and quails jumping about. Breakfast is delivered to the rooms and is generally pleasant. Would recommend for those looking to relax.

I have booked room with double bed, but they provided room with two single beds. After claiming they changed room. Receptionist helped to rent motorbike and provided guarantee, so no needed deposit for motorbike. It's worth it.
We loved our stay! The couple that own the guesthouse are so friendly. It feels like staying in someones home. The super plus was that we could use the kitchen. Even got help with laundry! Only downside is our room got hot if we didn't keep the door and window open. But we were there when it was very warm.

Nice, friendly, honest in details. Additional services such as motorbike rent is avaliable.

Nice hotel with patio full of plants in a good quiet locality, nice personnel but no english speaking, good breakfast especially omelette with potatoes, wifi is fast but just near the reception and in parts of patio on the lower floor. Stay at Rumah Eyang was one of the best parts of traveling through Indonesia. The owners knew so much about Borobudor, other temples, information on the general history of indonesia which helpedin my understanding of my surroundings. Complete experience!
Unforgetable sweetest memory was gained by our family members... it is quite, artistics, and share a local wisdom very obviously.

The location of the villa is far from the city. Its the time to relax coz at the villa doesn't have strong connection of wifi and doesnt have any channel at the tv. Breakfast not recommended at all coz they served you with the local bizzare food. Other than that is superb.
In our opinion, the best place you can stay at. It's very affordable, comes with breakfast included, allows you to dip in the pool whenever in need. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We even booked two extra nights because we enjoyed it that much.
Nice quiet villa. A lot of privacy. Host and staff was very accommodating. Food was good. Overall if you want some peace of mind and relaxation, this place is an excellent choice.
