Love staying here! ”
Thanks to our guide as we are manage to arrived at the villas safely because at some point we are lost finding the location at night. Our suggestion is just need to improve on your signboard. Check in around 9.40pm and the staff is so friendly and very considerate as we being get to taste a unique welcome drinks and got some sandwiches too😊. The room, the view is superb and worth it, and yes the food is good too! Have to check out early in the morning (3.00 am) on our second day as we wanted to see the sunrise at Mt. Batur and the staff provide us a pack breakfast. Thank you for making our breakfast at 3am in the morning😊 The only main concern, at night there some noise at the roof like something moving around and we did inform the staff. Probably its just a cat and we're hoping it is a cat😅 Overalls, everything is perfect for me and my husband. Will probably consider to stay here again.

Exceptionally well maintained Villas ”
If you would like to spend quality time then this Villa is surely for you. Equipped with personal swimming pool and garden and lots of greenery. Staffs were very friendly and always be there to help you. Love to visit again in this beautiful villa.

A fabulous stay”
We found the Visakha amazing for its friendly staff, clean rooms and beautiful gardens. The staff bent over backwards to help make our stay enjoyable. The location was quiet and peaceful, away from the crowded shops. Sanur beach is worth visiting too. The 10 minute walk is surrounded by mangroves. On weekends, one can meet the locals there. The breakfasts were delicious. We would go back there again without hesitation when travelling to Bali.

Acceptable”
The staff who were accommodating and nice and the massage was great and the pool was clean but unfortunately we decided to leave after 4 hours. The air conditioner was struggling, the linen on the bed was stained, the bathroom which was open did not lock so we did not feel secure. the villa was a fair way from the shops and beach in a not so nice neighbourhood. The welcome letter was addressed to another guest.

It is not what you see on the internet. My room had electrical issues. There was huge communication issues with trying to extend my stay. The outdoor set were rotten and broken- not to mention harbour infestations of insects that had made their home in the mouldy smelling sun beds(I have photo’s to prove)

Amazing, beautiful, perfect honeymoon stay ”
We were blown away by how beautiful this place was. It looked just as good ad the photos online. We walked in from the taxi and were handed a delicious fresh passionfruit drink, and that was just the beginning of the great service and awesome food. The room was gorgeous, We stayed at 7 different hotels in Bali and this was our favorite. Sanur was not our favorite town, there wasn't much going on there for us to do, but Waka Maya was a great landing place being just 15 or 20 minutes from the airport.

Great hotel, lovely service, amazing rooms”
waka maya hotel is very close to the shopping area in sanur, so it is convinient. i loved my big, clean room with amazing big bathroom. food in restaurant was great and variety of breakfast was very good so you will always find something for yourself and won't be hungry. hotel has also spa, so you don't need to look for anything outside. treatments were great and not so expensive. personel was very nice, smiling and positive. they really look after you even if they won't always understand you:)the only thing i found was problem with internet, but it is in most bali places like that. i will definately go back there! enjoy your staing in waka maya!

Waka Maya - Excellent Value For Money”
Waka Maya is a value for money, excellent hotel @ sanur location. The room is spacious, with own private pool. Breakfasts are served in the room, including snacks during tea time. The hotel is rather dark (especially after 9pm) but the overall atmosphere is excellent. The hotel provides free shuttle bus to nearby beach/shops, although i would recommend to rent a car and drive yourself to enjoy Bali to its fullest. i would recommend this hotel for honey mooner

Great hotel in a secluded area of Sanur, really quite and enjoyable. Booked the lamai with pool and we were pleasantly surprised by the size and of the room and of the pool! Very nice deco, rustic and elegant, beautiful little garden with the little plunging pool that was a real bliss at sunset after a day on the beach. Really enjoyed the stay there; the staff really friendly and graceful , good food at the restaurant and definetely good breakfast.

the hotel is very nice, only few villas in a beautiful garden, beautiful smal pool. good spa. It is far from Sanur but that is a must. you may reach the city by taxi for a modest amount of money. if you look for a very peaceful hotel where to stay that is the correct choice. Rooms are very comfortable, huge bathroom.The staff is extremely kind. The beach is a couple of Km away, the have bycicles or a car taks you to the beach. free shuttle for Sanur. The restaurant has not a vaste range of dishes but the food is quite good and presented as in 5 stars hotel.

Idyllic”
We originally booked 3 nights in a standard Lamai villa but enjoyed our time there so much that we extended for 2 more nights and then booked a further 3 nights in one of the Lanai villas with its own pool. The villas have a lovely character, with a beautiful bathroom (loved the sunken bath) and a very comfortable king bed. The best thing is the sense of privacy and tranquility - you feel as though you're away from everything and everyone, as you don't share walls with other guests and don't have any windows that look out into public areas etc. Each villa has it's own little private outdoor area which is really nice. I also really liked the main pool area, which we had to ourselves more often than not. The staff were all lovely and very accommodating. It's a bit of a hike into the centre of Sanur, but there's a free shuttle bus service that will run any time you like and you can also hire bicycles from reception (they'll also arrange scooter hire if you prefer). All up, this would have to be very close to the top of my list of favourite places that I've stayed. Already looking forward to coming back!

Exceptional”
This is a lovely pocket of Balinese flavor in Sanur. The room was a little tired, needs a repaint, but still very comfortable. The bed was heavenly.! The staff were great very helpful and pleasant. Ideally situated if you want to witness the kite festival just walking distance. Not far from town but they offer a schuttle service. The food was good and they offer a great breakfast. We would definitely come back to kamaya.

Retreat”
More than pleasant stay. Great comfortable Bali style villas. I recommend taking one with a pool. Don't know what everybody is whining about concerning barking dogs, planes and what not, but floating on my back in the pool villa I saw three planes in 6 hours time. If you can't handle that, go book a retreat somewhere in a monastery in the mountains of Tibet. Staff is great, go rent a bike and explore laid back sanur. Beach good for snorkelling and fishing. Wifi in villa good enough for Skype calls.

Lovely rooms and decor, quiet location”
wonderfully decorated rooms with quality fittings and decorations, spacious, partially outdoor bathroom with sunken bath and large shower. nice private pool in villa and main pool also very nice. ac in room however didn't make room as cool as we would have liked and suggest perhaps upgrading ac units. outside villa walls near private pool also need maintenance as look a bit weary. general grounds also in need of upgrade as look quite messy and in need of attention. guests should be aware that the waka maya isn't within easy walking distance of the main shopping, restaurant and beach areas of sanur however the hotel provides a free at-call shuttle service which will drop you more centrally and it'sn only a dollar or two back. the pay-off being the nice quiet location. staff very professional and helpful.

Lovely hotel in a quiet location”
Located at the extreme southern end of Sanur, this hotel is a tranquil retreat from the world. We had a villa with its own private garden and pool and this was wonderful for us. Breakfast was excellent with a choice of "American", continental and Indonesian dishes. We had a lunch and a couple of dinners there and enjoyed them all. The location is a bit remote but the hotel will drop and pick up in the main street in Sanur on request (9am to 10pm) so this wasn't a problem for us. Overall though this is a great place for a quiet retreat for a couple, and Sanur offers a lovely uncrowded beach and dining experience, with a little shopping as well.

Beautiful villas”
We stayed in the Lanai pool villa for one night. The villa was amazing. Beautifully decorated with its own pool and a really cute set up in the bedroom and outdoor bathroom. We had read reviews that said the mosquitoes were really bad, but didn't seem to notice them at all during our stay there. I would highly reccomend this place to anyone! The free breakfast was great as well, and the staff was very friendly and helped us arrange a shuttle and boat ride to the Gili islands before we left.

Very relaxed stay”
In these three nights stay, the experience was very enjoyable. Not many room guest, so the room service was very fast. The staff was so friendly. Me and my friend ordered lots of breakfast but they didn't say no to us. The breakfast was sent to our room very fast. The room and private pool are lovely. But the location is quite far from Kuta and Semiyak. It takes about 30 mins. So after we went to clubbing, It was tiring to take a 30 mins taxi. The Sanur town is near, about 5 mins by shuttle service. Lots of restaurants there but not many tourists there.
