Friendly Owner”
The owner of the Hotel is very friendly and helpful, especially when it was at night where most of the restaurant were closed, he bring us to a nearby restaurant that are still open. The owner also shore us the beauty of kintamani, and some other interesting (secret) location to visit.

Simple but comfortable”
We stayed in this hotel for one night before hiking up the volcano for sunrise. This hotel was almost as close to the starting point as we could get. The staff booked our guide for us, and made the process very easy. The food in the restaurant was good enough, the room was simple, but clean, and the mattress felt like a firm memory foam. There is no A/C, but you don't need it. It was fairly chilly at night, and we used the heavy blanket they gave us.

Basic hotel with very little surroundings”
The room was not very clean. Floor sticky and flies keep coming into the room. The bathroom has no door and gets cold when you showering. Water flow was very poor. TV channels were good variety although TV too small and high up to see properly. The highlight was food, cheap and good. Try the special grilled fish which was very fresh and delicious. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Area around the hotel is really boring and deserted. Just have to eat in the hotel. As soon as we arrived, a tour guide followed us to our room and tried to sell package to climb Mt Batur. They showed a brochure with so called fixed prices set by Guide Association but we bargained down the price. Don't pay the full price they ask.

Very good for the price”
We stayed here for one night as we were going to climb mount batur. it was perfect for it. I dont know what other people expect for this price. It was very basic but good. We didnt have the breakfast as we left straight after the hike. But i would recommend the place. We got the guides from the hotel, we payed 200 rupiah each (we were ten people).

Great View & Location”
Beautiful view overlooking the lake. The room is simple but sufficient. Friendly staff too. Restaurant closes at 8pm so need to get your food early. Great location to stay if you plan to go jungle trekking. Drawbacks: The toilet uses a sliding door that has no lock, while my room entrance door is pretty heavy and misaligned, a bit difficult to lock. The roads around the area are quite dusty, not conducive for night walks, and frequented by heavy trucks carrying sand.

Best hotel near Mount batur”
We stayed first night at another more expensive resort but then found this lovely hotel/bungalows. So sweet and helpful staff. Perfect location for climbing mount Batur/the volcano. We climbed the volcano early morning, came back at 11 and they still made us amazing breakfast. Beautifully located out to the lake. Peaceful and nice garden. Without a doubt the best place to stay in mount batur. Value for money !

Lovely view”
Room was big and hotel was located right beside the lake. However, the room was infested with flies. There was no way in getting them out so we lived with them but we could not leave out food or drinks unattended at all. Infact the whole area had a lot of flies so after eating out once, we always ordered in. However, it is located right beside th river, so extremely scenic. BUT getting around on your own is extremely inconvenient. It was extremely near to mt batur. Only a 10mins drive to begin our trek. Only one guy there could speak English, and he was also the one that arranged our sunrise trek for us. The other staff, although could not speak English, were friendly to us. Overall, this hotel is value for money, but I really wish they could do something about the houseflies.

maybe the best of the worse”
As we didn't wanted to get up at 1am to climb mt. batur after a 2hrs drive from Ubud or elsewhere, we decided to spent one night directly at the bottom of the volcano. Actually I wouldn't recommend, as the area is really not worth a stay. You get ripped off here directly at the village entrance of Kinramani by paying a tourist fee of 12.000 IDR pP. Down in Kedisan there's nothing to see, no Warung to get a meal (at leat none we would like to enter) and the poor shops wanna charge 5.000IDR for the 0.5l bottl of water (which is the Warung price, not the shop price). People are - as mentioned in the different guides - trained to bother you and to charge you for a smile. Therefore our recommendation: stay in Ubud or the coastline, get up early and do Mt. Batur Climb as a daytrip.

Good lake view hotel”
The rooms in the hotel are just beside the batu lake, you can see the lake view throuhg the glass wall fromthe rooms. The rooms are simple but hot water is available. Please bring alng your shampoo and towel if you stay in this hotel. One important point is please tell the hotel onwer straightly whether you will follow him for mountain trekking or not if he attempt to give briefing to avoid any misunderstanding. He did assumed my group would follow him for trekking and called for breifing immediately we checked in. One additional information is the cooking food in the hotel is nice. You can have a local dinner there if you have no better choices. There are two hot spring nearby, you can have a bath at hot pring after mountain trekking.

Boring and old place”
This homestay is far from the center of kintamani tourist spot. Only live here if you wish to climb mount batur and I advice you to check in as late as you can since it's very boring here. The television here only have indonesian channel. However the food here is quite nice with reasonable price. Staff here are friendly but can't speak English properly. When we reach they directly take our bag from car to the room without asking us to check in or show any document. The room is not clean enough.

blue moon lake view”
the staff are very nice and helpful, we choose the front cottage which next to the pavilions, enjoying the private lake view for both moon rise and sunrise. the moon are super big because of the altitude there is about 1000m +, good place for prepare trekking to batur and agung

Good value for the area.”
The rooms are okay, but there are a lot of ants and flies. Maybe due to the close proximity to the lake. The staff was very helpful arranging our guide to the mountain and taxi north. It is clear there is a lot of pressure in the area from the mountain association. It is also clear that taking tourists up and down the mountain safely is the only way people make money (beside the usual farming, etc.). So I understand the importance of not allowing tourists to wander all over their mountain without paying anyone for the upkeep and safety. The mountain also seems a bit sacred to their culture, so again, paying a guide is the right thing to do. We paid $150 for a family of 5 and it was well worth the expense.

Room and bed in dust bowl”
This hotel is what it is, a room and a shower close to mt batur. Good enough if you don't want to spend too much and want to trek batur early the next day. If you are planning an extended stay I would look elsewhere prehaps up out of the lake. No aircon or fan so if you struggle to sleep in warmish conditions you could struggle.

Only for Short Stay if no other option available”
The hotel is very close to the lake which is the only good thing we found. We reached the hotel late night at around 11. At first we thought we are entering into some private house as there was no reception/office. The villas/hotel rooms are behind the house near to the lake. The rooms are not at all clean and there was no aircon or even fan. The washroom/toilets was worst. As we had to make a quick booking, we couldn't look for many around. We won't recommend this hotel for more than 1 day stay and that too only if no other options available.
