we checked in for 3 nights and the location is 5 minutes walk from 4 face buddha and 10 minutes to discovery center. hotel is very well kept and looks new with a nice huge hall welcoming all their guest. i was greeted with a nice glass of honey lemon grass drink immediately upon approaching the reception to check-in. i also did not have to ask for the password for the free wifi and was handed to me on a printed sheet. staff are well mannered and helpful. i will definitely make this my 1st choice of hotel to stay in bangkok. i recommend anyone heading to bangkok to give this hotel a chance to experience the hospitality.

Phloenchit BTS station is a minute away. High-rise buildings and better hotels all around. Eateries and shopping abound. The Central Embassy and Central Chidlom are a walk across the station. My regular room had a terrace, with a deckchair and side-table. No curtains. Wooden blinds are environment friendly and do the job well. Hard floors are polished. The bathroom is somewhat congested. The shower stall is pretty tight with no hand-held shower. Showering is not comfortable. The toilet bowl, on the other hand, has water jets, button controls, and the hand-held spray. There is a bath-tub too, which I would have gladly traded for a larger shower stall. The house specialty is Asian cuisine likewise in-room dining is mostly Asian. The usual kettle and tea things are in place, moreover a micro-wave, cereal bowls and cutlery are above par. The Grande Centre Point is pricey, and worth every penny. Book early, without hesitation.

We had a wonderfull experience at Pathumwan Princess where we stayed for two nights before flying home to Sweden. We were upgraded to a Superior Deluxe room on arrival and treated to after noon tea while waiting for the room to be ready. Due to an problem with one of the rooms windows caused by heavy rain we had to re-loacate before we had a chance to unpack. Due to this inconvenience the staff quickly upgraded us once again, this time to an Executive Suite. Both rooms we stayed in were well apointed with extremely comfortable beds. The staf at this hotel were attentive and professional. The location; adjoined to the huge MBK shopping center and within close walking distance of Siam Discovery (with Madamme Tussauds), Siam Center and Siam Paragon (with Ocean World) is excellent for shopping and sightseeing! Taxi to/from the airport via expressway should be just under 400B including tip.

i am staying in this hotel for the fourth time. why location= very close to the shopping malls,like big c(20 sec walk), world trade center (2 min walk right across the road),gaysorn plaza( 50 sec walk), urban sale point( new)(40sec), indra plaza (8 min walk), mbk+siam +siam paragon+ siam discovery (14 min walk on skywalk) dinning= all types of food available near the hotel, food courts in world trade center and big c. if need indian go to indra. halal food is also available nearby. bawerchi resturent is in the near hotel,its a five star dinning. shopping= described in location. world trade center is the best as there you can find value for money. cenima= if you have time go to world trade center there cenemas are very good. on wednesday they have half ticket(80thb only) service= very good, friendly, smiling and understanding. rooms= good, well kept, clean wash room= good, small but ok reception= work well breakfast= very good , we enjoy a lot. lobby= beautiful money changer= easily available outside. taxi= v easily available late heck out= they do not accomodate but they keep your bags with them so that you can easily go out for sometime they take care of it. night life= i dont know as i think for that you have to go to siam or shukamvit enjoy your stay

The location is very strategic, surrounded by many shopping center such as siam paragon, siam discovery, MBK, and a bunch of small shops & restaurants, Novotel Siam is the best place for shopaholic travelers. What I love the most is their excellence on service. On last June, they were having a serious problem for some rooms on many floors because of broken pipe which caused flood on the carpets. Two of the unlucky rooms were mine. However they were having full responsibility due that cause, they send us to Pullman which is 5 stars hotel and much nicer than Novotel for one night, included the van as the transport. They were upgrading my rooms and gave us breakfast as well (my book were not included breakfast). In addition, their breakfast menu is fantastic, a lot of tasty options, especially the cake.

We've stayed at many nice hotels from your typical Western brand hotels like Westin, Marriott, Shangri-La, to individual boutiques and Hansar ranks as one of the best! It's location is fantastic and extremely safe. A two minute walk to the BTS SkyTrain station and with just one stop, you can access a plethora of shopping and eating at Siam Paragon Shopping Centre, Siam Center Bangkok, CentralWorld Shopping Complex, and MBK Shopping Center. These malls are huge and there are lots of places to eat! The customer service is splendid. From when you arrive until you leave, you are treated as a welcome guest. The staff's English is solid. No need to worry about language difficulties here. Inside the room, the design is very modern, and very clean. The rooms are also huge! And to go with a huge room is a huge flat screen on the wall (unfortunately we don't watch TV). A big plus is everything in the minibar fridge is complimentary so you get free water, juices, soda, and beer. It's replenished daily. You also get free wireless internet which is very important for us. Overall, Hansar is highly recommended! Don't hesitate to book your stay here!

we originally booked a studio room, but on our arrival (at about 8am) we asked for an early check in. there were no studio rooms available so, for an extra ฿1,000, we were upgraded to a 2 bed suite. nice! all the rooms had separate air con, we had a living room, two bathrooms, a kitchen (with cooker, fridge freezer, microwave and washing machine/dryer) and a small balcony. nice modern decor and lighting. the beds were comfortable, not too soft and not as hard as some beds in thai hotels. plenty of wardrobe space and a safe in the master bedroom. a tv in both bedrooms and a tv dvd player in the living room. sofa + one chair and a dining table+ 4 chairs. there was a problem with the key card, it wouldn't open on two occasions, the staff were very quick to help and on the second occasion discovered that the battery in the lock needed changing. this was done quickly and efficiently by the very helpful and friendly hotel staff. the hotel is very well located for travel around bangkok. in the street outside there are two 7-11's a number of bars and restaurants, and street food vendors (very good noodle soup stall just out of the hotel, to the right). it is about 5 minutes walk to chid lom bts station and taxis can be hailed in the street outside the hotel. ฿50 to most central locations like mbk paragon etc. the door staff will go and flag one down for you while you wait in the lobby if it's raining. the view from the 33rd floor pool deck is definitely worth a look, stunning views of bangkok at night! overall this is a great hotel and agoda's discount makes it well worth the few extra baht over the cheaper alternatives. quite a 'hi-so' place but even though we are definitely not 'hi-so' people, we were made to feel very welcome by the staff who were very friendly and helpful. i only put 1 star for food/dining as we didn't eat in the hotel, so can't comment.

like i said it feels like a 4 star hotel in every way because everything is super nice. the rooms are nice, the staff are always there and are helpful and friendly. the price is definitely worth it. the location is amazing bc its walking distance to mbk shopping center and a short taxi ride away from many of the clubs or bars. only thing is that internet is way overpriced and food is too expensive. but an amazing hotel

hotel staffs doesn't speak or understand much english. print 2 copies of your agoda hotel voucher. keep a copy for your own reference. the hotel lost my copy & claimed that i did not pay for my room when i check out. luckily there was a free wifi available so i log in to my email a/c from my mobile & retrieve the softcopy booking email to show to the reception lady that i've already paid for my room. concierge was very helpful. breakfast selection is quite good tho but you have to be early @ 7am to reserve a seat as the restaurant dining area is quite small & packed with people. i only ate the bread, fruits & cereal as the rest of the food is not halal. the hotel offers great complete basic necessity for a budget hotel. worth the price & value for money, tho bed was hard! but doesn't bother me cos i was too dead tired to think abt it when i slept! shower tub reminds me of jacuzzi tub! so cute! can sit down while showering especially when i'm too tired to stand after shopping whole day! hotel is strategically located near bts station. only about 10-15 min walk. 1 station away from siam paragon & near to mbk shopping centre. there is a linking bridge from siam station to central world shopping centre & to chit lom station for shopping fanatics. less than 10 min via tuk-tuk for 60tb for 3 persons from pratunam to hotel. bargain with the tuk-tuk driver first before you hop on. there is a 7-11 & massage place near to hotel. very convenient. avoid the morning tuk-tuk 20tb offer from driver (who always stationed himself in front of samran place). they'll bring you elsewhere and earn commission. hard to get taxi which uses meter.

Layout of the rooms looked like a service apartment and I had a double decker bed and 2 singles joined together. Kitchen has everything, induction cooker, microwave, pots and pans, basically all the kitchen ware. However this room does not have a dining area where we could fit 4 pax and have dinner in. Still prefer the room At Centrepoint Pratunam. Bath room was okay but I love the seat bidet! Location wise was quite a walk from chidlom BTS station. Interval was fast. However tuktuk was provided to and fro the hotel, did not try the service of tuktuk from chidlom station to hotel tho. 7-11 is within walking distance but still it’s quite far to get to the nearest.. around the vicinity there’s bars and cafe that I did not check out Staff was nice and welcoming, went to the front desk at odd hours to asked for toiletries they offered to send it up tho! What really touched me was, my dad’s birthday falls on one day of our stay. The team had prepared a card and a slice of cake in the fridge and it was Super sweet of them!! really appreciate the effort they put for the guest!

Hotel is new and very well located in Bangkok Shopping centers: across the road, a bit on the left side, there is the MBK shopping center, where you can find any kind of objects (do not get confuse by the Tokyu Department store, that you meet when you enter from the Skytrain passage.... go further inside): from clothes to souvenir, from electronic to any kind of gadgets. 4th floor is for mobiles/tablets in general, 6th floor for anything plus a Thai food center where you can choose everything (worth the money). After MBK, still on the left, you can reach the Siam complex (Siam Discovery, Siam center, Siam Paragon). For the Breakfast, even if is very good, do not take the one of the hotel: a bit too expensive. For 80THB, you can get: 1 croissant, 2 slice of toast, 1 banana, orange juice and coffee at LubD hotel, the one on the right side. We got a problem with one room (strong smell of solvent, paint.... as hotel is new) but staff changed immediately.

I have stayed in many Bangkok hotels and I will definately book this hotel again on my next trip. Sightseeing: The local tour agency around the corner is already economically priced with bargain-able margin of 10%. As this hotel seats within the most jammed traffic of Bangkok, expect to be the first pick-up and the last drop-off points. Shopping: MBK shopping center is within walking distant, which need no introductory. This hotel is also well connected with the BTS. Restaurant: Kinda empty every night, althought it is not expensive. Nightlife: Not as connected compared to those in Suhkumvit 11, which boast a better environment. Hotel features: During low season, this hotel throws in complimentary breakfast for all type of bookings. They also provide paper cup and pinic boxes for take-aways. Wifi is free, laser printing is charged at 15 Bahts/page. 24hr delivery fast-food menu can be found in in-room's dining menu.

The Hotel is exactly as described in the website. the most important feature of this hotel is its location. it is situated right next the BTS National Stadium. it is centrally located next to Siam area where you have MBK Shopping Center, Siam Diacovery, Siam Paragorn and many more shopping malls and it is also close to Hard Rock Cafe. there is 7 Eleven at the lobby so food is not much of a problem. there are plenty of Halal Food at the Mall (for Muslim Travellers) Basically you can access many attractions by using the BRT service and this makes this hotel thr perfect location for a stay in Bangkok. Will seriously consider this hotel during my next visit to Bangkok.

It's right at the back of Siam Paragol. Just 10 minute walk to Siam Paragol, 20 minutes to MBK. But it's hard to find if you go there the first time. It's located in a small road, the hotel sign is not big enough; and when you reach the hotel, you still aren't able to recognize it because of its look. Outside, with a wooden hotel sign that was not easy to see, the hotel gate was quite small, we always accessed the car park walkway. It looked like a normal home building. When we reached there, we thought this place was not very good. It really didn't look good from the outside. But when we walked in our room, everything was new and nice, except for the wardrobe. The hotel was clean and nice, its location was good. If you want shopping, just walk to Siam Paragol or MBK. It's not that far, so I wouldn't suggest to take taxi because Bangkok traffic is crazy slow. The traffic red light stays for 3 minutes and that's normal. Sometimes I'm not sure if taxi fare based on meters or time. If you want to go a bit further, you can take tuk tuk. It's negotiable, fast, and fun. There is nothing I would have to complain except one thing. they asked me to give them 1000Baht deposit. I'm not They returned it when we checked out, but the thing is. On the day when we check out, what can we possibly do with 1000 Baht? So, it's the only cons that I have for this hotel

The location of the hotel is very good, within 5 min. walk to the BTS Phloen Chit station. There is a pedestrian bridge connecting Central Embassy (the hotel is on the 10/F) to the BTS which means you won't get wet walking to the BTS station even when it is raining outside. The room is spacious and you can find a nice bath tube with open city view, there is even an iron in the room. And the best part of the hotel I think is the staff. They all made you feel very welcome and they speak very good English. They have even prepared a small cake for my mother's birthday which made my mother so happy. Big applause for the staff!

i choose this hotel for its location close to the air link terminal. in effect is really close, even on sign in the airlink and bts station you will find its old name siam hotel. apart of this useful location, its 3 min walkin as you get off the airlink or bts train, the hotel is beutiful, has a style design of rooms. rooms are spacious, clean and well mantained. staff has been kind and helpful. rooms have a/c, fridge, complimentary water and tea/coffee set, safe, iron etc. theree isn't a great view, but you are in the center of bangkok, at ten mins from siam center and mbk for shopping. with skytrain and metro you can reach in short time many interesting spots of this city. prices don't exceed the avarage, on the contrary place and service are five stars. great place, i tried many hotels in bkk but sukosol can be the best balance between price and luxury, very good deal.

First class accommodation, staff extremely helpful and always smiling. Rooms are spotless, the rectangular bath is deep and very relaxing. Rooms with views over the national football stadium and right on the doorstep of a sky train, the MBK center is a two minute walk. The roof top restaurant is very much worth a meal if a bit pricey but the views and service are pretty spectacular, the executive rooms come with complimentary breakfast and tea and coffee all day long and drinks and cocktails with auderves in the evening. Managed to get a free upgrade to executive without even asking. First class service throughout and even after staying a total of 8 times the place never lets you down.

The hotel have a really good gym including free weight training with trainer to support you all the time. the pool is also really nice. the staff are really professional and friendly. the location is right on the center of bangkok easy to travel and just 5 mins on foot to the central world biggest shopping center in thailand and just on stop of sky train to siam paragon both two of the best shopping mall in thailand. however as their location is in the center the view is not so great from your room and the car traffic is really bad during rush hour, apart from that strongly recommend.

we came to intercontinental to spend the first leg of our honeymoon after getting married in beautiful koh samui. as soon as the receptionist learnt that we were honeymooners, she immediately upgraded our room and sent us a bottle of champagne with a selection of chocolate and fruits to our room. despite its location in the heart of bangkok and the busy streets around, not to mention the high number of guests in the hotel, it remains very quiet and comfortable. the staff were very helpful. they spared no efforts in providing all information needed and also organising tours in thailand for us, as well as for our family and other friends that were coming with us to visit bangkok. we also had a treatment in the spa located on the 37th floor. the thai massage we had was excellent. the hotel is 10 minutes away from the night market and few steps away from the metro station. easy access to the shopping malls: central world, facing the hotel and mbk huge mall is 10 to 15 minutes walk. we booked with agoda and had the best price for this highly recommended hotel.

from the time I arrive and left after a 2 night stay I was pleasantly surprised with many of the little things I didn't expect for a budget hotel. I was welcomed with the door being opened each and every time I arrived or left the hotel. Check in and check out was pleasant, quick and efficent. Any enquiry was attended to. I felt at ease and comfortable staying at happy 3 as a solo woman traveller. The location was great to walk in any direction. MBK was a 12min stroll along the lane, turn left to the main road, pass a 7/11, Macdonald's, and the sky rail of Victory Monument. You also pass a massage place which is wonderful for many varied treatments from Massages to facials. Open late as I found out after a late night MBK shop and street market exploration. I found the massage girls still lined up with many relaxed customers close to midnight...I was able to have my 1hr thia massage although I had to pay 100baht more for being after midnight. Love thialand for this and many other reasons. Again felt safe to walk back to the hotel down the darkened lane at 1.30am. You pass various other styled accommodation as you walk to Happy 3. Also construction for another big hotel is in progress nearby atm. Happy 3 is not a 41/2 star so you wont get the spa/gym fluffy slippers but you will be comfotable, welcomed and have an easy stay in this new, clean hotel. It does have a small pool, a rooftop for city viewing and surrounds on level 7. A couple of minor things I noticed that may need to be attended is- the little fridge in the room had no dial to make it cold, so lucky I didn't need to use it. Also as the hotel ages I think their drawers/cupboards ect will need replacing with better quality. They are already hard to open and the the hinge on the door broken. The room is small but plenty adequate for a couple or single person. If travelling as 2 single people be prepared to be open with each other as the shower and toilet are shared with a glass 3/4 door. I will return gladly

this is probably the best hotel i've ever stayed at. the staff was super friendly and accommodating, especially the front door people. the hotel is very luxurious and has a modern, beautiful design. the room and especially the bathroom is gorgeous, and they provide all necessary amenities. the food is excellent although a little pricey (but i guess that's to be expected when you go to a five star hotel). didn't use the facilities because i only stayed one night but they seemed nice as well. the location was okay; there mostly just hotels around there and a few street food stalls as far as i could tell, but the siam shopping area and mbk is only two stops away on the bts (the bts station itself is less than a five minute walk from the hotel). definitely recommend staying at this hotel. only wish i had booked for more than one night so i could enjoy more of the hotel. will come back.

It has been a pleasant stay for a family as there is a heated, salted water, indoor swimming pool which my kids enjoyed. The hotel staff were more than friendly to talk to you and to serve you. This is actually my second time staying at renaissance. I have stayed in other hotels (amari watergate and berkeley) before but the service in renaissance was by far the best. There is also a massage shop near renaissance (body tune) and they were having promotions for massage which i felt the price was reasonable for the good quality massage. The hotel is easily accessible and sheltered all the way to the bts (nearest chitlom). From renaissance, you can walk to Amarin shopping center which is located just beside renaissance. Usually we will head to level 4 (if im not wrong) food court and eat mango sticky rice for just 60 baht, and recently, i tried the moo-ping (braised pork leg without bones) rice which tasted yummy! Overall, the stay was fantastic! If i were to go bkk again, renaissance will still be my hotel choice! :)

I have to say it is one of the best hotels I've stayed in my travelling exeprience (been to 50 countries). All the hotel staff are well-trained to carry out their duties professionally, honestly speaking, the pay-attention-to-details service is much better than some five star hotels. Also, the location is ideal for business travellers, shoppers or travelling with elders or youngs. Its location is in a quite lane, but a block away from the center of city. Public transport and shopping centres are in walking distance. Additionally, the wide selection of foods really satisfied my appetites during a busy business trip; all you can eat buffet for breakfast, set lunch (at very resonable price), and themed dinner buffet; also, the around-the-clock room service is a good option to enjoy local dishes if you don't have time to check out the amazing street foods in Thailand. Lastly, the dedicated service to business travellers is definitely a perk. I emailed the document to receptionist for printout. In short, this is a great option for your stay in Bangkok.

Just a few minutes walk to MBK shopping mall, Siam Discovery. The National Stadium BTS just in front of the hotel, can ride the BTS to Siam Paragon & Siam Square. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. U can use the computer & internet at the lobby & print for free. The room was quite small but very clean. As a Muslim, this hotel is very near to the famous halal foods restaurant which is located in MBK. Overall, worth the money & will come again to this hotel.

WOW WOW WOW! I came here with my husband on our honeymoon. It wasn't until we arrived at the Lit Hotel that we felt we were on holidays. Every staff member greeted us with a big smile. The hotel has a modern design, the room was so comfortable. The hotel is around a 5 minute walk to Siam & MBK shopping Centers. We stayed here for a couple of days, before we went to Koh Samui for 14 days, we were so disappointed with our hotel there, that we booked an early flight back to Bangkok and re-booked a hotel at the Lit. The courtyard at night, is truly magical, fairy lit trees with cruisy music. My husband and I spent every night in the courtyard having dinner & cocktails. There was two waitress who were so attentive & friendly it made our stay even more comfortable. Mulan & Muay very friendly girls. Please if you decide to eat dinner at Lit, please try the Beef Burger (it is so good!YUM) When we go to Bangkok again, I know where we will be staying at the Lit.
