Friendly Staff, Comfortable Room”

if you're looking for a quiet stay in malate, the orange nest hotel is an excellent choice. tucked away in a somewhat quiet street called san marcelino, the hotel is far away from the usual tourist-heavy streets and thus, you're unlikely to be bothered by touts when you're walking back to the hotel. the room that i stayed in, suite c was probably a bit overkill since i was traveling alone but i got a good price for it as so what the heck. i even got a free upgrade on my room on my last night due to a booking conflict so yeah for me!

I had a nice and pleasureful stay in the Orange Nest. Simple but we'll made breakfast. Very kind staff and all working to make my stay as none I want to remember. Even the position is not so good for a Malate hotel I certainly think of going there again when i want to stay in manila. The very nice lounge music in the restaurant is so much more relaxing as most places. Only down point is the large amount of traffic in front of the hotel, still this not effected my stay. The will see me again this year.

As I write this review, I am actually staying in the hotel again. Needless to say, I loved my initial stay! I didn't have an idea that there was this hotel here in Malate with such quality compared to its price. [LOCATION] The hotel is located on a major road, but not a main road. It is easier to find if you tell the cab it is near the intersection of "Nakpil" and "San Marcelino" streets. There are a few stores nearby (a minute walk to 7-eleven and some local restaurants). Sometimes, the trucks passing by can be heard, but if you're not too sensitive on the noise, this will not be a problem. Easily solved by earplugs. [THE ROOM] The hotel requires a deposit (refundable of course) upon check-in. The room was very clean, cozy and comfortable. It has the basics: toiletries, clean towels, hair dryer, water, kettle, hot/cold shower, internet connection, toilet paper. If any of these are not present, you can simply request for one by calling the front desk. The bed was just right softness. I love the comforter, and the pillows are not too stiff and not too fluffy. The internet connection is good and the staff are very helpful and accommodating! [BREAKFAST] You only have a few choices for breakfast. It's not something spectacular, but will suffice for the hotel rate. I heeded one of the comments here and decided to always take it on the hotel cafe to avoid extra charges.

Orange nest was the best value hotel that l have stayed in for a long time.The hotel is relatively new with everything in good order.The first night l stayed the room was a little noisy l mentioned it to the staff and l was immediately assisted in moving to a new room,with a smile.THE HOTEL IS IN AN EXCELLANT POSITION LOCATED ABOUT 10 MIN WALK TO ENTERTAINMENT AND FOOD.If you don't feel like walking there are many tricycles available for 50 Peso.The food l had at the hotel was good and the whole enterprise was spotless.

I recently stayed at the Orange nest hotel and to be honest, they over delivered on their services and i received the warmest hospitality from them. Great value for money and fantastic ambience in the decor of the hotel. I will definitely go back and stay again. They have also free wifi and simple things like adapter for the mobile charger. FYI some of the other hotel wanted to charge for the adapter!!

despite arrival past 1am, i was welcomed by very friendly nightstaff. rooms are spacious enough for the single traveller, equipment is in good condition. beside the bathroom is another balcony like semi-open room that allows to dry clothes if needed. breakfast choice is between western style and several philippino meals. it is served in the nice cafe in the ground floor and gave a good start for the day. only disadvantage were some potholes in the mainroad in front of the hotel, so passing through cargo trucks make all day long noise (since the second night i didnt notice them anymore), when you have a light sleep i recomment some ear-plugs. despite the noise from the road, the guests used to be civilized and quiet. i can recomment the orange nest without any doubt.

staying two days in lovely hotel, I can say that the hotel is clean and neat but small room...accesible going to divisoria and ongpin, roxas boulevard many fun and nitelife thier..just only ride a jeep, taxi or LRT going their..the staff were so approachable and friendly with all smile with their services.. I can recommend to the travelers try to stay in orange nest hotel.

Orange Nest hotel is one of those little gems you stumble across occassionally when travelling.The hotel cattered extremely well in all areas.The restaurant supplied a very good breakfast.The roomsl stasyed in the first night was noisy but upon mentioning it to the reception they changed me into a suite which was large and comfortable.Everything was in good order and the bed comfy the shower hot and strong there is active security that actually patrol the hotel of a night,not sleep.It's located close to restaurants and nightlife,about a 50 Peso Tricycle ride

parking lot in front of the hotel. check-in was quick. deposit of 1,000 pesos is required. hazel and the other guy front desk personnel were so warm and welcoming. free wi-fi in rooms. room was spacious. loved the balcony where my boyfriend got to smoke since room was non-smoking. water heater and bathroom were just fine. bed was cozy. i agree with the rest of the complaints here regarding the noisy trucks that pass by in front of the hotel. it's not the hotel's fault that they are located on a main road where big trucks are only allowed to pass by. i wasn't bothered by the noise though. if you can request for a room away from the main road then it would be quieter. the room itself is so nice. feels so clean and new. it looks like a condominium room with a nice interior design. breakfast was only from 7-10am. set breakfast is served. funny that our pancakes were not well cooked since the center was still liquid- we had to ask them to cook it again. but no problems with that. only took less than 5 mins anyway. check-out was smooth. hazel even asked how my stay in the hotel was. now that's good hospitality. i will definitely come back should the price stay the same. i got the room for two nights with free breakfast. great deal isn't it? i so love this hotel. one of the best hotels i've been to in the philippines.

we had a nice time at orange nest. the staff were very nice and helpful with any questions we had about our stay in manila. the location is good and fairly central if you want to do sightseeing or partying in malate or makati. the cafe was really nice and since we've been living in asia for a few years and away from western culture for so long it was really nice to have a great capuccino!

Good place for a short stay”

The place good and clean, aircon was functional and the staff is friendly. Wifi is working great too. However, There was no bathroom towel and was not able to request at the reception (I woke up late and running out of time for school). Overall, the place is good. Will definitely consider orange nest again in the future.

Nice staff especially nicole of front desk. Clean and spacious rooms. Tho the bathroom is a little small but is ok. Value for money. Its my second time with orange nest. I love it. Wont be the last 🙂. Dont expect 5star ammenities when you only paid like 1/5 of the price of other 5star hotels lol

Super Great Deal”

I had to stay in Manila for 2 weeks for work and was with my co-worker. I booked a room here 2 months in advance so I got a great deal. The stay was comfortable as we got the biggest room I assume. The bathroom was bigger than expected and they maximized the space by making the airconditioner's outer unit enclosed into a drying area. We had no fridge which was a bit unfortunate as we could have stored some food and save money. On the first 2 or 3 days, the internet was very slow but the owner had another provider install a new connection which was very fast and so we could do some office works in our room. The staffs were very accommodating to us which made our stay easy.

location: easy access to moa, manila ocean park, manila zoo. hotel is easy to find just inform the taxi driver to drop you at san marcelino st. corner j. nakpil. food: haven't tried their food but they offer complimentary continental breakfast. rooms: good enough for a family of three. amenities: free water only. there were no free toiletries. although it wasn't an issue because we usually bring our own soaps and shampoos when we travel.

Nice almost newbrend hotel and very noisy”

Brand new hotel with small rooms but clean and well decorated. Location is in Malate which is ok as well as Makate. Close to shopping malls and Manila Bay. But it was awfully noisy the whole day and the whole night as well because of the road next to the hotel. The tracks made so much noise so we decided to change the room after sleepless night. Breakfast was included but we waited for the standart american breakfast for 50 mins. It was said they had wifi in the hotel, but there is not actually. Even in the hall close to reception atea the internet was very slow. Interier and staff - ok, coffee and cakes in cafe - excellent.

Room OK , but small shower and toilet”

The places was good and convenient for going around central manila...all the nights life and Tourists spot are near the place. Although the places is located in a Residential area of Malate it is accessible . The shocking part is the Hotel is note 24 hrs .., when i have a visitor and stay for a while then they decided to leave around 0100AM.., found that there's nobody at the Reception, security guard was not there then the Metal roller was already pulled down and closed but not locked. so My friend roll over the small opening just to get out. i supposed to go out also that night but because of it I decide to stay. Foods and services is good they are very prompt.

i liked the clean rooms, good working a/c, filipino breakfast, very helpful and friendly staff. i didnt like the way the bathroom drainage worked. the staff took me clubbing one night, it mustve been a hell of a time cuz i barely remember it! :d thnx guys! live band every fridays was cool too. its a cute hotel, about 20 minutes walk to intramuros, 10 minute jog to manila bay, and 140 pesos taxi to greenbelt. oh yeah and not far from the mall of asia either.

I gave high ratings to this hotel, because I only booked the room for only 500pesos/night, and I feel comfortable with my entire stay. Staffs in this hotel are all nice, as in ALL! This is an old hotel, surrounded by manpower agencies and diff establishments,a very bc street. don't forget to call the establishment first to ask if there's a parking space available, they have 2 slot in front and they also have basement parking. Elevator is well maintained, lobby and hallway are also clean. Upon entering the room it was already cold, aircon is in good condition, with small bed, that's OK for me,with blanket and duvet on top, I like it! Nevermind the interior,,obviously it's an old hotel.. But in my 500pesos budget, I got more than what I pay for! Friendly staffs, clean room, free parking, free toiletries, nice smelling towels, spotless duvet. That's my most affordable hotel booking without regret!
