Great hospitality & location, few minor drawbacks”

We had a great stay at Swandewi! The staff were so friendly and we were only a short walk from Discovery mall and Kuta beach. The rooms are clean with all necessary facilities, good air con, fridge, etc. Wifi was a bit slow and there were quite a few ants in the room is the only negative thing I can say about this place, but as backpackers accustomed to hostels, I really had no complaints!

Perfect place to stay”

I initially booked 3 days of my stay in Bali but as soon as I got to the homestay, I knew I'll be staying there for the whole week. The hotel is next to new shopping mall where I get my daily dose of starbuck's mocha frap. There are also a number of small and very cheap restaurants right outside the hotel if you'd like an authentic Balinese food. The hotel is also a few minutes away from the beach. And the best part is, it is amazingly tranquil at night so I really had a relaxing stay during my vacation.

This is the second time I stay at Swandewi Homestay, very recommended, near to the shopping mall, easy access, close to the beach, if I go to Bali, i will stay again at Swandewi Homestay.

Good bang for your buck”

Good little place, a bit dated, but for a 1-star hotel what do you expect. Clean and close to Kuta reef, restaurants, and shopping at the Lippo Mall. Great deal and a good stop over location or if you want a central location in southern Kuta. Recommended

Very Nice and Enjoyable Stay”

The owner is extremely helpful and friendly with great smile that makes me feel like home. The room is large and clean. However the water at the basin is weak sometimes. I like the TV channels have a lot of variety. During my stay the water pipe at shower room burst but the owner immediately change me to another room. The hotel is very near to beach (quiet side of beach and about 15-20min walk to Kuta beach) and 10min walk to Discovery shopping. I enjoy the location than Poppies 1 and 2 as this place is more classic and less raunchy crowds. The Hyper mall just 50 meter from the hotel is going to open and the supermarket at the basement has already opened. The hospitality of this hotel is so good that I do not find anything much to complaint. You can actually walk to the Airport if not have a lot of luggage. I had only one backpack and I can walk to Airport in 20min. I also walked to Kuta Beach and Legian throughout my 4 days stay.

Made was a great contact point and as I have stayed 4 or 5 times here when in Bali. this time I had to SMS him (+62 878 61377983) to tell him my plane was late and he made sure my room was still ready for me when i arrived. It is located near a major shopping mall with a great supermarket and other shops. Rooms nice and tidy and mine had air conditioning. Restaurant attached to the home-stay was a good place to eat. Other nice places to eat also nearby

Customers need to bring own slippers , toothbrash , and maybe towel..but i think its okay because the price is so cheap I can save money to travel (as i just need a hot shower and comfortable bed after a fantastic day I arrived very early in the morning but the staff still help me to check in .also i have tour on the last day.they allowed me to check out at 4:00pm and let me take shower before i leave.they are so nice and thoughtful ! I will come bali again , and will stay here again

Clean large room, friendly owner”

Hotel is located In a quiet alley about 3minutes walk from the main road. Room is new and clean, bathroom facilities are basic but adequate, water pressure good. We loved the scented pillow, bed sheet and towels and had very comfortable sleep during our one night there. Surprised to find cable tv here Overall the place is very good for budget stay.

Simple but large room with two beds, a TV, a closet, a refrigerator, airconditioning and a bathroom. So basically all you need but nothing super fancy. Friendly and helpful staff, motorbike parking available just outside the room. Location off the main streets so no traffic noise (just the occasional rooster giving early wake up calls).

By taxi it took about 10 min from airport, clean room and homey. Staff are very helpful I had to use wifi because of my work, I asked them password and wifi was fast. I extended stay longer and asked them very last day but they let me stay without any problem. Location is great. Couple min to beach, one min to shopping mall / supermarket. Very quiet at night. (:

Just a few minutes from airport, a couple of blocks from the beach, great having supermarket across the street, you can get fresh fruit, bread & cheese etc. Room has kettle & a refrigerator. Large room AC , very quiet. This is my second time, hope to be back next year. Thanks Made

Good value for money”

Very nice and comfortable room within walking distance from airport, close to beach and one of Kuta's busiest streets. Great value for money - air conditioning, fridge, lots of space. Only small minus for signs of ageing inside the room, which could be easily fixed with little investment.

You get what you pay for”

We’ve stayed here for 1 night. The price is so cheap and if you’re looking for a place to stay for sleep, I recommend it. But don’t expect too much. The rooms are for basic needs only like sleep and taking a bath. Good for backpacker like us.

Good location in the quieter part of kits. AC, big clean room, comfy bed. Lots of space to store clothes. Good location, great stay. Recommended.
