"We opted for Klapa resort for the last 2 nights of our stay in Bali. We were impressed from the get-go. Very courteous and organised staff at the reception had everything ready for us and had a smooth check in. They explained all the facilities at the resort. The room was the most spacious I have seen in any hotel and the golf view was very nice. The bathroom was also very spacious with a large bath tub and an additional shower cubicle. Room had ample storage cabinets. Bed was also comfy. Waking up to the rising sun was our best moment in the room after a sound sleep. Breakfast spread and the quality of food was just ok. This could use a bit more attention from the management. Probably the best part of our stay at the resort was the free access to adjoining Klapa beach restaurant and Dreamland beach, especially in this part of Bali very transportation options are limited, this saves you a lot of time and money. We spent a whole evening at the infinity pool overlooking the sea and sunset served by the most attentive staff which was the high point of our stay. The staff at the resort also arranged scooter on rent and meter taxi on time as requested. Overall we had a great couple of nights at Klapa resort and we were extremely happy with our choice. I would highly recommend Klapa resort to any travellers looking for a good accomodation at reasonable prices."

"Best hotel in Bali. I felt really special and welcomed by staff. Staff welcomed us with flower garland while entering the hotel. Staff were really friendly, helpful and always smiling. I booked this hotel because both rimba and ayana have beautiful pools , restaurants and priority access to rock bar. Being the guest of Rimba we were given the best seat at rock bar. I would highly recommend this hotel. I cannot thank enough to the hotel and staff. We checked out at 12:00 but we had flight at 20:00. Staff allowed us to stay at the hotel and use all the facilities. This really made our day. "

"This was my third trip to Bali since first visiting in 1977.I've stayed in quite a few hotels in Bali and would recommend this establishment very highly.Certainly it is a quieter and nicer venue than most (in this price range)in the Kuta area.We preferred to stay a little further out from the bustle and noise of Kuta.It has great grounds and a good quality/size pool. The hotel's shuttle will take you to Kuta but you must make your own way back.A metered taxi costs an average of 50,000 rupiah, (and about US$5 doesn't break the bank). I would recommend it and stay there again.Great shopping can be had between Kuta and the hotel. Nearby resturants are cheap an well worthy of a visit."

"I have tried two other famous 4 star hotels in Bali and i can say with full confidence that this hotel deserves to have a 5th star! Very clean rooms, towels, linens etc. Spotless. Very helpful and excited staff. Place feels luxurious. Super delicious with variety breakfast and room service. I complained about a neighbor being noisy and they did their best to control the situation and also offered me to sleep in a another room for the night. The next day, I found a hand written letter on my bed from the manager expressing his apologies, which really made me appreciate the customer service they have. "

"We stayed in Bali for 10 days, and stayed in three different areas and hotels. Ayana is the best one. The price more expensive than others, but we thinking it's value for money. We do enjoy the time we spend in Ayana. Nice resturANT, Good breakfast, a lot of choices. THe rock bar just located in Ayana, so you don't have to wait. The staff in Ayana very nice, friendly, and professinal. The room is nice and clean. Beatiful view from our room, even in raining day. The spa was good, very relex. We think Ayana will be the only hotel we will stay when we come to Bali again. After Ayana, we have changed to another 5 star hotel in Ubud, the hotel in ubud is also good, but compare to Ayana, Ayana liked a 6 star hotel in Bali."

"My family with two young children stayed at the Prama Sabur Beach Bali Hotel in April 2017, for 6 nights. The location was fantastic, being right on the beach which has a gentle gradient. The resort is nestled among other resorts and a plethora of restaurants, shops, bars and spas. We love Sanur for it's old world, laid back feel, quite different from the frenetic sophistication of Seminyak or Canggu. The traffic here is also really light most of the time and we never had any of the dreadful traffic jams we have experienced elsewhere. We had a fourth floor room with direct views of the pool and the beach. It was lovely waking up early to experience the sunrise in the cool of the morning. The two pools were of very good size, with one of them designed for children and featuring an artificial beach and a set of straight and helical slides that the children loved. The staff were more than friendly and helpful and we wanted for nothing. If there is any negative point about the Prama, it is their food. We ate breakfast there only once and never again. We found it expensive for what was offered at the buffet . It was clearly mass catering with featureless cooked food, limp waffles, dry pancakes and the lowest grade of jams possible (the type that looks like coloured gel with absolutely no fruit inside of it). There were endless options for breakfast along the beach or on the main street outside so we weren't stuck for choice. There was an Easter Sunday buffet lunch at the Italian restaurant. The food was reasonably good, but very expensive for Bali. The saving grace was that kids under 12 ate for free and there was an Easter party for kids, with egg painting, treasure hunt, bashing a pinata, gift bags and refreshments, all very well organised for the kids. We would come back to the Prama Sanur if we wanted another beach holiday in Bali."

"This hotel does everything right it was absolutely perfect it really does have a wow factor. I’ve stayed in over 2000 hotels this is probably the best, seriously I just don’t see how they could make it any better. Check in was slow I guess and I made 500 photos in just 1 nights stay. Every corner you turn takes your breath away. Only open 3 months so got s good deal, it’s the best hotel in the area and I expect the best hotel in Bali. Very impressed. "

"The location is perfect - just 10 minutes from the harbor with a beach literally opposite the hotel. The beach is great for snorkeling - go out at high tide so you can swim over the seaweed farms. Also check out the beach bar 'Penida Colada' for great food and drinks. The hotel staff were extremely friendly, addressing us by our first names as soon as we arrived. They organized transport and a day tour for us at fair prices. The food at the restaurant was delicious and very reasonably priced compared to Bali! There are even two Bali Starlings who like to frequent the grounds. The room was big with a large, very comfortable bed. We will be back!"

"We have stayed in couple of hotels in Bali and really did some research, the Inaya is far the best hotel in nusa dua in terms of money value, great clean beach, service is not to mention excellent, room with pool is highly recommended and breakfast is diverse and just incredible. For example, hotel next door is st. Regis(where presidents stays ), using the same beach therefore the location must be great. First we booked 3 nights and than decided to stay 3 more and after visiting Ubud ( must see jungle town- in hotel Udaya, great hotel) we went to Kuta, Seminyak booked 3 nights and were vary disappointed with the dirty beach, so we went back to Inaya to go home with great memories from Bali. "Good place to stay if budget traveling. Location good and close to all beautiful beaches but pretty far from city. Nice and quiet place to stay. Good wifi in rooms. Cafe in front really cheap to buy all your meals. Staff really nice and helpful. You can rent scooter to drive around this part of island. I would highly recommend this place for that cheap price. Only minus on my stay- i had my room in first floor and it looked like it was staff smoking area just behind my bathroom window in between two houses. Since the windows are not closed it was very upsetting to have a cigarette smell in my room all the time coming from bathroom. I asked boys kindly not to smoke there but after 1 day they were back doing same thing."

More about Bali

Bali is a world away from the rest of Indonesia, and a longtime favorite with international travelers. Surfers have been coming here since the 1930s, but it wasn't until the 1960s that surfing vacations to Bali became the popular thing to do. Today, the trend continues and Bali sees as many surfers as it does affluent resort tourists.

Indonesia may have the world's largest Muslim population, but Bali fosters its own distinct culture. Hinduism has flourished here for nearly 2,000 years. Away from the beaches are fascinating Hindu temples, cultural exhibitions, terraced rice fields, and colorful festivals.

Kuta is the busiest resort district in Bali, featuring some of the top luxury hotels in Bali. Behind the main waterfront is a spread of budget guesthouses that are still within easy walking distance of the beach. From here it's a short trip by taxi or rented motorbike to Uluwatu, a massive limestone peninsula jutting out in the sea. Tourists visit Uluwatu to see the temple, go surfing, or watch the sunset over the majestic cliffs.

Legian is another must-see, as it offers an excellent surf along with exciting nightlife along the beach. Life in Legian begins and ends on the beach. Surf shops give lessons by day, and then give way to lively bars and live music venues after sunset. There is a reason that Bali is often referred to as paradise, and much of it is evidenced by a visit to the many beaches.
