Really appreciate Aruga for upgrading our room for free! We were given a connecting room which is not really a problem for us. However, our neighbors were a bit loud for our preference. It's like I can almost join their conversation and laugh out loud with them. Hehe. Anyways, since we were there to relax and we didn't want to spoil the other group's stay by requesting them (via concierge) to be quiet all the time, my husband and I decided to request and pay for an upgrade. Aruga was kind enough to offer it for free. It was our first wedding anniversary the following day. We never shared that info throughout the conversation but, please, do know that I considered it as a gift. So, again, thank you! 😊 By the way, we chose Aruga as our wedding prep venue the previous year. So glad we came back!

Needs A Lot of Improvement ”
Booked two bedroom suites for 3 of our families but we were only allowed to have 2 cars parked in the hotel. I understand that they were just counting the number of rooms but I hope the hotel can treat all guests with free parking especially that our booked rooms were a suite. We always stay in hotel suite rooms and our 3 -4 cars were always granted free parking all of the time because we are guests. I also didn’t like how the front desk was not approachable about this matter. I expected front desks to be warm and friendly or at least try to see if it’s possible since it’s a favor from a guest but she just shut me down immediately. I was also disappointed when she upright told me that SC discounts were not allowed in an in-room massage. If I didn’t insist that she checks it with her manager, we were not be able to get the discount. I just hope the staff assigned in the front desk be friendlier or at least show guests that they will try to see what they can do instead of just shutting down requests from guests. Apart from this, the suite rooms we stayed in didn’t have hairdryers and bathrobes. I brought this up in the front desk but they said it’s upon request. I don’t quite understand this policy since suite rooms is considered an upgrade. I was expecting amenities in this room category be complete when the guests arrive. Lastly, I would like to recommend the hotel to provide a water dispenser in all rooms like in other hotels since water is an essential to all guests. Our short stay at Aruga was definitely a pleasant experience. The staff were so helpful and patient with all our questions and/or requests. The amenities are amazing. Imagine an exclusive basement access to Power Plant mall and cafe bars nearby that are open until 12midnight! They even have an in house massage that you can book until 2:30am! My husband and I were able to avail a massage and at the comfort of our room without having to worry who will look after our young kids. Lastly, the hotel even booked our airport transport to accommodate our early flight and our 7 luggages! My only regret is booking a studio rather than a suite. Will definitely be back and will stay longer this time.

Hosted a bridal shower for one of my dearest friends, and would gladly recommend staying at Aruga for the excellent service and beautiful contemporary rooms. We experienced the best customer service and stay while we were at Aruga. The parking attendants were helpful and accommodating to our requests, and Danielle especially, the guest relations officer at the front desk, was especially fantastic and attentive to our needs. The room was clean and I loved that there were utensils for us to use already. It was a rainy and stormy time during our stay but we didn't feel the effects because there was even a convenient passage between the hotel and the neighboring Powerplant Mall. 5 stars!
