"I enjoyed staying at the Bila, it is well priced & has everything you really need to accomodate people while they are exploring Amed. It even has a wheelchair accessible room, ramps where required, etc. I think the Bila really captures the low key vibe of Amed. Nicely. Money changers, laundry, restaurants, etc are close at hand. My only gripe might be that the road can be noisie at night until things settle down, but I think this can be said of just about every other Property in amed, most line the main thoroughfare through Amed hugging the coast & the other villages up the coast. Amed I'd a beauty BTW."

"We stayed in Amed for three days. It is great place for snorkeling. It is quiet and not that touristy part of Bali and it is easily accessible from Gili Islands - best part of Bali we visited. Hotel was nice and traditionally equipped. Helpful staff, close to the black sand beach and great breakfast. Wifi available only in restaurant. We booked ocean side bungalows, but it is waste of money, standard room is OK. "

"The Homestay and restaurants are right infront of the beach. The family who runs the Homestay stays at the back and are super friendly. Room is spacious with aircon plus a fan, so it's never humid. Just a bit noisy in the mornings when the roosters start crowing. But overall, nice place to stay! "

"I arrived here to do a free diving course offered by the hostel the night before my course commenced it turns out there was a wedding ceromony across the fence on the neighbouring property, loud music and singing all night and the next morning I began the course and was subjected to this same noise plus a new distraction coming from within the hostel grounds it self where the management has decided to construct a gym for the coming busy season , so the sounds of building as well as an incredibly loud party was what I had to contend with during my course ,not pleased at all this is not a good learning environment and was not peaceful like the hostel portrays itself to be . I got little sleep in the 4 nights I stayed and became extremely irritated because of this . Not being in a good state of mind to do my free diving course , I realise that it is low season but as I had to pay the same fee for the course having constant construction noise going on is rude and makes me feel cheated."
