Cool Hollywood Loft Hotel

Huge rooms, very boho-chic decor, comfy bed, full kitchen (though we didn't use it)

From the moment we checked in, we had a great stay. The front desk staff printed out some tickets from my email that I had forgotten to print out ahead of time and offered us the house car (a very nice BMW 7 Series) instead of a cab to get my husband and I to dinner. It made for a fabulous experience. Though there isn't a ton to do within walking distance of the hotel except for the Pantages Theater (where we saw a show - very convenient!), I would try to find an excuse to stay at this hotel the next time we're in LA because we felt like rock stars!

Tip Restauran: We went to three other sbe-affiliated restaurants - a quick but tasty and a little different breakfast at Cleo downstairs in the lobby, dinner at the Bazaar (awesome molecular gastronomy cocktails!), and dinner at Katsuya (quick service made for a delicious but oddly very quick mail) -- all were excellent

Great hotel with attentive front desk.

Location, Rooms, Service

The Redbury is a great hotel, with large, creativively designed rooms beyond the standard fare in LA. I had a very pleasant stay with great service ranging from front desk and restaurant staff even to the valet. My stay was only marred by slight noise from the neighboring club, but after calling this to the attention of the staff i was moved to a different part of the hotel, to an upgraded room. All in all a very pleasant stay probably more for the vacationing visitor rather than the business traveler. Nonetheless, i will return upon my next visit to LA.
