Easy walk to town, but we were still given a bus pass for the time of our stay. Free wifi, comfy room, showing bit of age. 3 out of the 4 front desk staff we dealt with brilliant, one was bit sharp. Good solid hotel, but we never used any of the hotel facilities

Average hotel but a bit older

The hotel could use some updating or renovations but it was clean enough. We were in the Swiss Village Lodge portion and we had two different tour groups running around in the halls and socializing loudly late at night. This also happened early in the morning so we did not get much sleep.

Great extra services
The pools, restaurants and extras were great.

The rooms were a bit tired and stuffy. They definately could do with a makeover. Get a bike because the cycle ways are great in this area and dont forget to cycle the Vermillion lakes.
Tip Tarikan Perhatian/Pemandangan:
Banff is spectacular everywhere you look. Check out the view from the rear courtyard at the Banff Fairmont. It is ridiculously beautiful. The gondola ride is a must.

Good location, but their staff not friendly who show us impatiently for our questions when we check in.
The non-somking room has a smoke taste.

Lodge rooms are awesome
Lodges are very nice and spacious

Originally we had booked three rooms, but as 1 couple couldn't make it we were able to switch the three rooms for 1 lodge, with 3 bedroom, a full kitchen and a large living area. Very nice. Wildlife is all round (deer in the parking lot) and as it is on the outskirts of Banff a very quite location, but still within a few minutes from all the action.
