Berpasangan Australia, 02 Mei 2013	Peaceful , relaxing very welcoming Lovely room big windows,friendly staff,breakfast 10 Spent 5 nights at Orient House,the staff were lovely always smiling and happy to assist.great price accommadation although it was low season.Room was clean and spacious with floor to ceiling windows beautiful view of pool and garden.Although matress too hard but thats a personal opion.location perfect away from the noise but walking distance from bars beach restuarants shopping.Perfect 10/10

It was 1000 baht to get to the hotel, but there are minivans that you can book at the airport for 200 - 300 baht a person. Expect to get hassled by taxi drivers when you walk out of the airport. The drive to Kata Orient House was about an hour. Things seemed a little chaotic and unorganized when we arrived and we had to wait awhile for our room to be ready. Our room was fine, but not what we were expecting based on the pictures. Room is basically a box and two of the walls are giant glass sliding doors. Kind of strange. Bed was not that comfortable and they didn't change our sheets once, just remade the bed. Changed towels everyday and provIded separate towels to use at the pool/beach which was nice. Walking distance to Kata Beach but found that to be overcrowded. When we followed the sign to get there it took us down a path that was directly next to a river of sewage. Rent a motorbike and go to Kata Noi.

The rooms are spacious and very clean and modern. Good shower, flat screen tv, in room wifi and comfortable bed. Nice pool and garden area. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is very good as it is quiet but close to all the action of Kata Beach. I will stay there again in the future.
