Small boutique cabin by the ocean

We arrived early (9am) by ferry and we were happy to be given our room right away. The rooms are cabins, first floor is a huge bathroom with the very steep rail-less ladder to the sleeping area. Very lovely but after two nights the ladder can be cumbersome esp. when you need to go up and down for the toilet at night. The shower pressure was very low, the bed was very comfortable and the balcony on the top floor made it feel roomy. With only 3 cabins it was a very small comfortable place. Breakfast was a great American one with good bacon, eggs and coffee. the property is not very wide, but all there space is used well. Not good for people with mobility issues, or those who would drink a lot as the ladder would be too dangerous. Lipe is a VERY dirty island, the owners do a good job of keeping their beach front clean, but 30 meters in either direction the beach is full of garbage. I would stay here again.

Nice bungalows though a bit pricy

We stayed in this hotel one of the long weekends so it was quite crowded on the island. Hotel is nicely located next to the beach and managed by a friendly lady that took care well of the guests. The bungalows are clean but not suitable for elderly people due to a steep climb to bedroom (first floor). Although a good experience overall, I would say the hotel is a bit on the expensive site given the fact that it lacks air-conditioning.

cons: very steep stairs, dark, little water pressure, very warm in room despite fan, no aircon for the price we were paying, lots of bugs.

Great boutique resort. Attentive staff

I lived in Thailand for five years and always found beach resorts so-so but this was a great little boutique hotel. The staff were attentive, breakfast great and the rooms realy nice. The view is also pretty cool straight across the ocean. Not for those with kids or elderly as the stairs to the bedroom take some negociation but one of the best resorts I've ever stayed at.

Great beach at door step but too many mosquios

Kaixolipe resort suits customers who look for a complete relaxation. It is situated on a very quiete and very beautiful beach. Room decoration and design is very unique but it is not suitable for old customers or a family with young kids as they have to cliam up to the bedroom!!! It would be great if Kaixolipe can improve on the quality of breakfast, get rid of mosquitos (too many!!!) and shower.
