Room too expensive and horrible food
close to beach, room with two double beds

- As we have two children age 4 and 5 we chose this hotel mostly because of the beach playground advertised in the agoda galery. But there is no playground. The playground apparently belonged to a swedish travel agency and was only temporary.
- The food is horrible. As part of our family is Thai we know the Thai cuisine very well. Even basic dishes are tasteless. Meat sometimes had a funny smell. Also we found bugs and hair in the food. Cucumberslices of the first breakfasts served were dry and looked like leftovers from yesterday.
- Breakfast was monotonous.
- The pool was smelly and water not clear.
- Not enough shade on the beach.
+ The airport shuttle had child seats.
+ Family rooms are very close to the beach.

We stayed 6 nights & were impressed with the relaxed atmosphere of this hotel. 2 clean pools , lots of nice swedish people. Rode mopeds around the Island. Elephant ride through the forrest.Memorable snorkling trip. Lanta old town is worth a visit and there is always something happening at night somewhere .There is something for everyone here.
Tip Nightlife:
Most of the night life is around long beach area.

Great location and nice Bungalows

This is a lovely resort with nice Bungalows and beach setting. There are 2 nice pools but a shortage of shade because there were no parasols at all - had to rely on shade from trees etc,this was OK at the beach front pool but no shade at all at the rear pool. The Hotel and this area of Lanta is very much geared to young families so didn't really suit us. The beach bar was popular for happy hour to watch the sun go down; great sunsets. Apart from breakfast which was just OK we didn't eat at the hotel and there was no life at all in the evenings here but there were plenty of restaurants and bars to walk out to along the beach.

we were a group of 4. everyone enjoyed the feeling of being at an all-inclusive resort: great rooms, awesome pool, good restaurant with wifi, and near the beach.

Lovely beach, but too many kids

This is a lovely quite island, with a beautiful wide beach, however this destination is "paradise" for families with babies, therefore forget the pool, and ditch the hopes of having a quite nice dinner :)

Ok place if you are travelling with younger kids or babies. Good location on the Khlong Dao-beach and close to Saladan.
But nothing special, the service is a bit so so and watch out for bed bugs, they've had a lot of problems with that.
And be prepared that it is almost only people from sweden staying at this place.

This is a nice family resort.
The rooms are wide with lots of storage. The beds are huge and one room can easily accommodate a family of 4.
It´s not a quite and peaceful hotel taking into account de amount of children that run around. The swimming pool is then definitely not a pleasant place but conversely the front beach is a good alternative. There can you find a lot of options like going for a paddle lesson or if you prefer a nice foot massage.
Personally I found de staff a bit rough but the hotel was so overcrowded that it becomes difficult sometimes to be nice under pressure.
They announce that they have free wi-fi but it never works unless you pay for it.
Koh Lanta is a lovely island full of diversity and good energy. From the hotel you can easily ask for a tuk tuk and go to the city center.

We are not satisfied. Some insect attached us. May be fleas or others. We saw a green little snake in the resort which felt from a palm... Otherwise the resort has a great location in the best area in Lanta.
Too many scandinavians there, they wake up early the moorning and put their towels on the first line chairs...
